Parachurch Organizations

The organizations below partner with Harvest Family Life Ministries and have a wealth of resources to share as well as conferences to attend.

Also known as CAFO, the alliance serves to unite and strengthen Christians to respond effectively for vulnerable children and families.

The Global Orphan Project serves orphans internationally to create church-centered, sustainable, unique to each context methods for family strengthening, orphan care, and the transition of youth into adulthood. Their annual conference, Summit, provides encouragement, education, and networking for leaders from around the globe.

CarePortal is a care-sharing technology platform that connects the local church to children and families in crisis.

Based in Oklahoma, 111 project works to mobilize the local church so that every child has a family.

Christ Coalition works alongside the Texas DFPS Faith and Community Engagement team to equip local churches to serve vulnerable children and families well and to network together to do so. They host monthly "Lunch N' Learn" events in San Antonio, Texas as well as other networking opportunities.

Child Placement Agencies

Child Placement Agencies (CPAs) license families for foster care and adoption as well as approve their babysitters and respite providers. All CPAs must meet minimum state standards for licensing homes; however, they serve in different geographical areas and have different specialties, approaches, values, and methodologies for licensing. Although there are many wonderful CPAs across Texas and the United States, below are a few of our Christian partners that we refer to as our "Agencies of Choice."
