You may not foster. You may not adopt. But you can help a child remain connected to family, strengthen a caregiver, mentor a young adult, meet a practical need, or build a church that stays.

Born in Brownwood more than two decades ago, Harvest Family Life Ministries equips the local Church to respond from the inside out— rooted in the Black church and community, with pastors and neighbors leading and service organizations coming alongside.

One questionchanged a church.

One child asked Bishop Aaron and Mary Blake for help. Their answer moved a family, a congregation, and eventually churches across America to stand with children and families.

What is the Sound of Hope screening?

The Wednesday kickoff is a community screening of Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot at The Jubilee Church on October 7, 2026. The film is rated PG-13, and the screening time will be announced.

Is the Sound of Hope screening included with conference admission?

No. The October 7 screening uses a separate $1 ticket. Stand Sunday Conference admission covers October 8–9 and ranges from $25 to $80, plus Wix service fees.

What does conference registration cost?

General Admission is $80 + $2.00 Wix service fee; Group Admission is $70 + $1.75 Wix service fee; Large Group Admission is $60 + $1.50 Wix service fee; Volunteer and Exhibitor Admission are each $25 + $0.63 Wix service fee. Sales end September 12, 2026 at 01:59 AM.

Where is the conference?

The conference will be held at The Jubilee Church, 200 Lion Street, DeSoto, Texas 75115. Parking and arrival instructions will be shared with registered attendees before the conference.

Can I register more than one person?

Yes. Use the quantity controls to select the appropriate number of General, Group, or Large Group Admission tickets. Ticket prices and Wix service fees are calculated separately in the registration total.

Do I have to be a foster or adoptive parent?

No. There are meaningful ways for pastors, volunteers, advocates, mentors, businesses, agencies, and community leaders to stand. The conference is built to help you find yours.

Will accessibility or dietary needs be accommodated?

Use the notes field when you register to share accessibility, dietary, or group details. HFLM will follow up as event logistics are finalized.
